The presence of 2-ME in the culture medium had no effect on the yield of IFN.The IFN producing ability of tonsillar cells and that of peripheral blood leucocytes (PBLs) were compared under the same conditions with 7 kinds of inducers: PHA, PWM, SEA and ConA for IFNγ; NDV, Staphylococcus Cowan I and Corynebacterium par yum (C P) for IFNα. Both cells were almost equally potent in producing IFNα with NDV and Staphyl. Cowan I, as well as PHA, PWM and ConA for IFNγ. As for the IFN producing ability with SEA and C P, tonsillar cells are significantly weaker than PBLs. This difference was discussed with special reference to the distribution of lymphocyte subsets in tonsil and peripheral blood.

手术切除的正常儿童扁桃体,经抗生素杀菌后,制成1×10~7分散的细胞悬液,不加或加1~2种诱生剂,单独或混合培养2~3日后,用细胞病变抑制法检测上清液中的干扰素效价及干扰素类型。结果证明人扁桃体细胞单独培养不加任何诱生剂,可自发产生IFN-γ。加中国商陆皂甙(ES)或其单体及美州商陆(PWM)皆可诱生出IFN-γ,后者比前者效价高。以PWM及莨菪硷联合诱生者与单以PWM诱生者效价无差别,但以PWM加短小棒状杆菌(C。P)疫苗或以PWM加刀豆素A(Con-A)诱生者反比单独以PWM诱生者效价低。人扁桃体混合淋巴细胞培养,加或不加中国商陆皂甙或PWM均可诱生IFN-γ,但加PWM诱生的效价略高。文内讨论了上列各法诱生IFN-γ效价差异的可能原因。
