In the present work the activity and selectivity of toluol disproportional reaction on various kinds of ion-exchanged and/or soaked molecular sieve catalysts DG (ZSM type) have been studied. The relation between acidity and catalytic activity is disscused briefly. The activity of catalyst DG increases with the increase of exchange degree of H+ ions, but there are slight changes on activity and se1ectivity when the exchange degree is over 75%. In the present work the activity and selectivity of toluol disproportional reaction on various kinds of ion-exchanged and/or soaked molecular sieve catalysts DG (ZSM type) have been studied. The relation between acidity and catalytic activity is disscused briefly. The activity of catalyst DG increases with the increase of exchange degree of H+ ions, but there are slight changes on activity and se1ectivity when the exchange degree is over 75%. The molecular sieve catalysts DG modified by phosphorus and magnesium compounds have high selectivities towards the formation of p-xylene. It appears that the increase of selectivity is accompanied with the decrease of the number of strong acidic centre, as well as the increase of the number of weak acidic centre. Experiment shows that the mean pore diameter of the P-Mg modified molecular sieve catalyst DG is smaller than that of the non-modified one. This modified catalyst has a high selectivity towards the formation of p-xylene and depresses the formation of mesitylol by lurther disproportion of xylene. Reaction temperature and space velocity have also a great effect on its selectivity. P-Mg modified molecular sieve catalyst DG is a new catalyst which cou1d be used for direct synthesis of p-xylene by toluol disproportion.It has a lower ability to isomerization and cracking. Its activity and stability are better than that of the commerical H-Mordenite catalyst.

This is a simple and rapid method by which informations related to acidic surface properties of the solid acidic catalysts under reaction conditions and environments can be given. It is shown that certain relationship exists between the no. of acid sites and total SiO_2/Al_2O_3 or sodium ion exchanged during the preparation and ion exchanging process for the same series of synthetic mordenites. Results concerning the apparent activation energies estimated at different degree of poisoning of various poisoning reagents, the relation between the no. of acid site of hydrogen ion exchanged mordenite prepared by decomposition of ammonium mordenite and the quantity of exchanged ammonium may provide some interesting informations for further study on the nature of the acid centres on the hydrogen ion exchanged mordenite.

用脉冲催化色谱中毒法测定并研究了氢受丝光沸石酸中心及其与甲苯歧化反应的关系。这一快速、简便的方法可提供在反应条件和反应气氛下多种与固体酸值化剂表面酸中心性质有关的信息。在测定酸中心数的同时,可获得中毒过程中剩余酸中心数与反应动力学参数间的关系。试验表明同一系列合成丝光沸石制备和交换过程中,总SiO_2/Al_2O_3和钠被交换率与酸中心数有一定关系。中毒程度不同时测得之甲苯歧化反应视活化能、用不同毒物进行中毒试验和铰型丝光沸石分解所得氢型丝光沸石酸中心数与饺交换量等结果,可能有助于进一步探讨氢型丝光沸石的酸中心性质。
