The representative varieties were classified into three types: high, medium and nonresistance plant analyses to find which components resist brown hoppers was conducted from 1978 to 1981.It has been found that the quantities of γ—aminobutyric acid and histamine are significantly higher in high—resistant varleties,free amino—acids and soluble sugars are lower and asqaragin is the lowest, while the quantities of the above in non—resistant varieties are just the contrary. γ—aminobutyric acid formed by the catalytic action of glutamate dccarboxylase in rice plant is an important brown hopper—resistant con stituent.the strong or weak resistance of hybrid rice at prescnt is mainly influenced by the restorers. The stated above may be used as an index for the resistance to brown hoppers to a large exetent.

我国南方稻区稻褐飞虱危害严重。目前推广的杂交水稻及常规良种对稻褐飞虱的抗性参差不齐。1978—1981年我们对有代表性的诸品种,分高抗、中抗、不抗三种类型进行抗稻褐飞虱成份的探索性分析,结果发现抗性品种植株中游离氨基酸总量低,其中天冬酰胺最低,可溶性糖亦低,而γ—氮基丁酸和组胺的含量则较高,不抗品种则刚好相反。γ—氮基丁酸是抗生性的重要成份,系由植株谷氨酸脱羧酶催化生成。在目前推厂的杂交水稻组合中抗性强弱主要受恢复系的影响。上述诸项可作为抗性指标扩大范围加以验证。
