By measuring resistivity of melt and DTA it was found that an obvious break--over at the dependence curve between physical properties and temperature above liquidus for Al--St alloys existes. Based on observation of the liquid--quenching specimen using SEM,the microstructural transformation in the liquid state proved to be existent for Al--St alloys. If cast the melt at usual pouring temperature cooled rapidly from high temperature above liquidus, the mechanical properties of the alloys were increased considerably, e.g. the tensile strength increased by 17% and the elongation increased one time as compared with that of the traditional Al--Si alloy.

The oxidizing mechanism, technological conditions of production and principles of formulation design for starch sticking agent have been probed in the article. In producing the title product, a quick cooling technology has been adopted. One hour is enough for reactions at normal atmospheric temperature. Products so be got could be substitute for polyvinyl alcohol in sticking high grade color boxes. No coacervation and mouldiness be found after two months storage.
