Methods of artifical insemination of the domestic ducks (Peking Ducks or South China Ducks) and the domestic muscovy ducks are described in this paper. The methods consist of three processes, collection of semen, dilution, and artificial insemination. Using these methods it is possible to obtain not only fertile eggs from the insemination of ducks of the same species, but also hybrid ducks from the reciprocal crosses of the domestic ducks and the domestic muscovy ducks.Several dilutors were used in the artificial...

Methods of artifical insemination of the domestic ducks (Peking Ducks or South China Ducks) and the domestic muscovy ducks are described in this paper. The methods consist of three processes, collection of semen, dilution, and artificial insemination. Using these methods it is possible to obtain not only fertile eggs from the insemination of ducks of the same species, but also hybrid ducks from the reciprocal crosses of the domestic ducks and the domestic muscovy ducks.Several dilutors were used in the artificial inseminatian experiments. They were: 3-N dilutor, Ringer's solution, normal saline, albumen, yolk-sodium citrate solution and 6% glucose solulion. Among these dilutors tested, the 3-N dilutor was found to be the best.The fertility of South China ducks insemianted with the semen of Peking Ducks diluted to 20 times with 3-N dilutor of pH 7.7 was 55.6% (3 days av.), When the semen were diluted to 25 times, the fertility was 33.5-42.5% (3 days av.), and 28.5% (5 days av.).The fertility of South China Ducks inseminated with the semen of the muscovy ducks diluted to 10 times with 3-N dilutor of pH 7.7 was 42.4% (3 days av.). This was almost the same as the fertility using semen of Peking Ducks diluted to 25 times. This fertility could not be raised even the semen were less diluted.The fertility could not be noticeably raised by using semen kept at 35-38°C. aften colletion during winter. Conversely, too long preservation at such a temperature would decrease the viability of the spermatozoa and thus lowered the fertility.

1. 本文研究鸭类简便的人工授精方法,包括采精、稀释及授精三个步骤.已获得一种简便的采精及授精方法.2. 北京鸭的精液可用pH7.7的三钠稀释液,稀释20倍进行华南鸭的人工授精,受精率可达55.6%(三日平均),稀释25倍受精率可达33.5-42.5%(三日平均)及28.5%(五日平均).3. 番鸭的精液可用pH7.7的三钠稀释液稀释10倍进行华南鸭的人工授精,受精率可达42.4% (三日平均).这与稀释25倍的北京鸭精液所得到的受精率相等.如将稀释倍数减少,也未必能提高受精率.4. 用蛋黄柠檬酸钠混合液,蛋白、生理盐水、林格氏液作稀释,其受精率较之用三钠稀释液为低.5. 将精液保温35°-38℃,对于受精率没有明显的提高;反之保温过久,精子很快地损失活动力,因而降低受精率.6. 雌鸭子宫含卵或不含卵,不影响受精率.7. 鸭类适宜的稀释液pH为7.2-7.7.8. 用北京鸭或华南鸭的精液与番鸭混合后,进行华南鸭的混合授精,其受精率较之单用番鸭精液稀释同样倍数作人工授精为高,但较之单用北京鸭精液的为低.

The relative masking abilities toward the hydrolytic precipitation of manganous and cupric ions of some complexing agents were studied by means of pH titration method. Based on the experimental results, the sequences of the masking effect were obtained as following: for cupric ions, tartaric acid>citric acid>pyrocatecholdisulfonic acid>malic acid>sulfosalicylic acid>biuret, mandelic acid>sodium salicylate>trisodium ethylene diaminetetraacetate>semicarbazide hydrochloride>thiourea>sodium thiosulphate; for manganous ions, pyrocatecholdisulfonic acid>citric acid>tartaric acid trisodium ethylenediamine tetraacetate>oxalic acid. It is advantageous to mask manganese in the divalent state, in the presenceof some reducing agents (e.g. hydroxylamine, hydrazine), rather than in higher oxidation states, because manganese (Ⅱ) complexes are generally colorless.

本文报导了用Ni——二甲酚澄——溴化十六烷基三甲基铵三元络合物快速测定镍的反应条件和络合物的组成,方法具有灵敏度高,选择性好等优点,最大的特点是显色较迅速,颜色稳定。并提出了用柠檬酸钠——磷酸三钠作为Fe~(+++)、Al~(+++)Cr~(+++)、Co~(++)、Pb~(++)等离子的掩蔽剂,制定了不经分离,快速测定土壤中微量镍的新方法。
