Then a model containing a temperature independent parameter has been proposed for liquid mixtures to predict thermal conductivities for 43 binary mixtures(869 data points) with AAD of 2. 31 per cent, the results obtained are better than those given by Teja and Rice's model. Finally, a five parameter model for dense fluids under high pressures has been obtained which correlated thermal conductivities for 13 subtances( 1064 data points) with AAD of 5. 18 per cent. For comparison, a very complicated model recently proposed by Hildwein and Stephan gave AAD of 7. 34 per cent for 4 substances of known PVT parameters(384 datapoints ).
