The levels of ABCG5/beta-actin and ABCG8/BETA-actin were significantly increased in cholesterol gall stone group as compared with the gastric cancer group (17.6%±9.8% vs 13.5%±6.2%, P<0.01;18.9%±7.1% vs 16.5%±4.2%, P<0.01).
Results CK-20 mRNA did not express in the benign disease group. The positive expression rate of CK-20 mRNA was 22.5%(9/40) in gastric cancer group before operation and the positive rate was 37.5%(15/40) after operation (P<0.05).
Results:The positive rate of HP infection and mean level of HP IgG antibody were 58.9% and 2.29±0.85 in gastric cancer group,which were significantly higher than those of the control group(42.5% and 1.84±0.65, P <0.05,and P <0.001).
but the frequencies of AA genotype of the site in male control group and male gastric carcinoma group were 9.09% and 40.00% respectively. There was statistical significance,OR=6.667,95% CI:1.121-39.660(P=0.025).
Methods Reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) technique was used to detect the CK20 mRNA in peripheral blood of 56 patients with gastric cancer(gastric carcinoma group), 18 patients with benign gastric disease(benign gastric disease group) and 20 cases of control group.
RESULTS:The leptin level of gastric cancer patients was significantly lower than that of the normal controls [1.83(0.03-9.85) ng/mL vs 2.98(0.59-14.39) ng/mL,P=0.003], but there was no difference in leptin/fat% between the two groups.
Results: Four peaks (P1, P2, P3 and P4) were found in the autofluorescence spectra of diluted, gastric juice specimens, and the fluorescence intensity of P2 and P4 (P2FI and P4FI) were greater in gastric cancer patients than those with gastric benign lesions (P<0.05).

RESULTS: The frequencies of T allele were 55% and 42.5% in the gastric carcinoma group and the health control group respectively, being significantly different between the two groups (χ2=5.00, P=0.018). The allelic frequency of the mutant T allele was significantly higher in the gastric carcinoma patients as compared with the controls.

The results showed that β-carotene and Se, Co were lower in gastric cancer patients than that in gastric dysplasia patients or in normal subjects, Ni and Cr levels were lower and Mn, Ca and Cd were higher in gastric cancer than in dysplasia patients.
Zn, Fe, Cr, Cd were lower and Mn, Ca, Mg, Mo levels were higher in gastric cancer patients than in normal.
