This paper deals with the changes in ATPase and PPase activities, lipid compositon of tonoplast vesicles from two wheat(Triticum aestivum) cultivars, Altas 66(Al tolerant) and Scout 66(Al sensitive) under Al stress. This paper deals with the changes in ATPase and PPase activities, lipid compositon of tonoplast vesicles from two wheat(Triticum aestivum) cultivars, Altas 66(Al tolerant) and Scout 66(Al sensitive) under Al stress. In comparison with the controls, the activities of H + ATPase and Ca 2+ ATPase of tonoplast vesicles in Altas 66 were decreased greatly by AlCl 3 20 and 100 μmol/L treatment, those of Scout 66 were increased at AlCl 3 20 μmol/L,but it decreased at AlCl 3 100 μmol/L(Figs.1, 2).The H + PPase activity of Altas 66 was decreased by Al treatment, while that of Scout 66 increased(Fig.3). The phospholipid contents of tonoplast vesicles in Altas 66 and Scout 66 were increased by AlCl 3 20 μmol/L treatment,but it was decreased by AlCl 3 100 μmol/L(Fig.4).The contents of galactose in lipids of two cultivars after Al treatments was higher than those of the controls, and it was higher in Altas 66 than in Scout 66(Fig.5). After Al treatment, the palmitic acid and stearic acid contents increased, the linolenic acid content and the unsaturation index of fatty acids decreased in both cultivars, but those in Scout 66 more distinctly(Table 3). To sum up, the tonoplast of roots of Altas 66 showed a higher adaptability to Al stress than that of Scout 66.

It was shown that nuclei of parenchymatous cells, plasma membrane of sieve elements and plasmodesmata together with lts transmitted materials have ATPase activity in vascular bundle of fertile anther both at uni and binucleate stages. While in connective, ATPase were localized in tonoplast, intercellular space and starch grains′ surface. In sterile anther at uninucleate stage, nuclei of parenchymatous cells in vascalar bundle were deformed, and heterochromatin were scattered in the nulclei, then heterochromatic...

It was shown that nuclei of parenchymatous cells, plasma membrane of sieve elements and plasmodesmata together with lts transmitted materials have ATPase activity in vascular bundle of fertile anther both at uni and binucleate stages. While in connective, ATPase were localized in tonoplast, intercellular space and starch grains′ surface. In sterile anther at uninucleate stage, nuclei of parenchymatous cells in vascalar bundle were deformed, and heterochromatin were scattered in the nulclei, then heterochromatic bodies transported to the periphery and tend to disappear. At the same stage in vascular bundle, ATPase were localized in heterochromatic bodies, mitochondria, vacuole and plasma membrane. While in connective, ATPase were localized in the intercellular space. Furthermore, neither plasmodesmata in vascular bundle nor starch grain in connective was observed. At binucleate stage, a lot of parenchymatous cells in vascular bundle were empty. Based on the above results, we suggested that nutrients unloaded from vascular bundle via symplasmic pathway in fertile anther, and there was some obstacle at nutrient unloading in sterile anther. At the end of paper, the mechnism was also discussed about the degeneration of parenchymatous cells in the vascular bundle of sterile anther.

It was shown that there were two tracheary elements and six or seven sieve elements in vascular bundle of Maxie fertile anther. Numerous mitochondri a, together with a few vacuoles were also observed at uninucleate stage. Abnormal mitochondria,numerous vacuole with broken tonop last were observed in parenchymatous cells,and aborted tapetum with broken tonop last were also observed at uninucleate...

超微结构观察表明马协不育系药隔维管束无导管 ,仅 2~ 3个筛分子 ,维管束薄壁细胞液泡膜破裂 ,线粒体有很大的电子透明区 ,而同期可育花药药隔维管束有 2个导管 ,6~ 7个筛分子 ,维管束薄壁细胞液泡少。单核期不育花药绒毡层提前解体 ,液泡膜破裂 ,二核期不育花粉外壁基粒棒少 ,且分布不均匀 ,线粒体电子透明区不断扩大 ,中央大液泡膜崩溃。推测不育花药维管束异常及绒毡层提前解体影响了花粉营养供应 ,液泡膜解体可能与活性氧类物质毒害有关
