The biomass, Chl a and primary productivity of phytoplankton were highly positive correlate,their values decreased in order of season——spring,summer,autumn and winter,The biomass of phytoplankton in every enclosure was large than that in control's,the values of density,Chl a and primary productivity were not obvious difference among the enclosures,the fence and the control.
The result of grazing trial for yaks in two-year mixed sown pasture with perennial grasses (Elymus natans + Puccinellia tenuflora) in the Changjiang and Yellow River source region showed: with the increase of stocking rate, aboveground net primary productivity of the total and different functional groups was in the changing trend of curve with single peak, i.e.S-shaped curve,during growing period;
The biomass 1~8 years old Hippophae rhamnoides increased rapidly, but that of 8~11 years old increased more slowly. Hippophae rhamnoides older than 11 years could keep reasonable community structure and higher primary productivity by natural thinning.
Biomass, net primary productivity,photosynthetic physiological features,number of CO 2 release and tempture in soil of the natural and degraded ecosystems in the case study area in the Gongga Mountain were studied. Characteristics of ecological function of the different forest ecosystem types in the mountain dark coniferous forest zone in the studied area were revealed, throught the study metioned above.
This experiment was carried out at Wuqi,Ansai and Guyuan county on the semiaridregion of the Loess Plateau from 1986 to 1997. Transpiration, net aboveground primaryproduction, soil moisture and characteristic of water physiology ecology and morphology anatomyof seabuckthorn were observed and studied.
Biomasses of light,middle and heavy degraded ecosystems are 267.01,121.80 and 0.51t/hm 2 respectively, and net primary productivities are 8.86,5.64 and 0.34 t/hm 2·a -1 . Photo_saturation point,net photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate of the constructive species of the degraded ecosystems are much higher than that of the constructive specie of the natural ecosystem, but water utilization rate is very low.
Bacterioplankton’s abundance has correlation with Chlorophyll-a and this relation is very high in autumn, and research show that the range bacterial biomass is 0.355% ~ 56.25% in phytoplankton biomass.
The results showed that the number of species in the communities of aquatic organisms and in ecosystems depends on the area and volume of the water body and the level of plankton primary production.
Summarizing the data of phytoplankton surveys made in 1956-57, 1062-63 and1973-75 in Lake Dong Hu, Wuhan, Hubei Province, the authors discuss the mainecological changes for the past two decades in phytoplankton association (abundanceand species composition, their annual and seasonal variations, diversity index andprimary production) at two sampling stations, which are representative of two differentregions, i.e., the pelagial zone and a bay region. Average annual abundance of plank-tonic algae was increased...
This is a report of an annual observation and measurement of aqua-physical and aqua-chemical nature,hydrobios and the productivity of the phytoplankton on San Daun.The results are as follows. 1.Range of the aqua-chemical index variation: Amount of dissolved oxygen 4012-9.78mg/l Total amount of N 2.40-7.20mg/l Total amount of P 0.60-0.30mg/l Ratio of N:P 3.92 Amount of silicate 4.55-20.15mg/l Alkalinity 1.06-2.65 gram equivalent/l Hardress 0.70-2.53 gram equivalent/l 2.Monthly mean distribution density of ph...
This paper reports the results of the investigation on physics, chemistry, plankton, bacterplankton, benthos, growth of fishes and primary productivity etc. of Qinghe reservoir from 1982 to 1985. It also discusses the change of water quality that affects fishery.The utilization rate of the total radiation in growth season by phytoplankton was 0.22%. The utilization rate of the primary production in growth season by fishes was 0.61%. The P/B value of phytoplankton in growth season was 81.In recent years, the...
