In the program a feed-back function has also been designed which can judge the student answers and tell him ture or false.There are some special subprograms in this software. This paper is to present tentative research into characteristics of EST (English for Science and Technology) and the methodology of teaching EST to non-native students. The researcher suggests that the best means is the communicative approach. The communicative principles have been thoroughly examined and their application in practice shows that this approach will achieve good results in TEST.
