From middle of June to September,when the temperature is higher than 28℃, tea caterpillar has a long aestivation in thepupal...

Laboratory tests indicated that: (1) the pupae cannot transform and the adults leavethe soil when the depth of the soil cover is 50--100 mm; (2) dusting BHC powder onthe soil surface will kill the older larvae preparing to pupate; and (3) spaying 0.1%Rogor on tea bush gives successful control.

茶蚕系我国茶树上的重要害虫,一般报导其分类地位多归属于蚕蛾科,但根据成虫前翅脉相缺R_3脉,后翅S_c脉与R脉间无横脉,雌、雄蛾触角异形,雌蛾触角丝状,以及幼虫无肛前突,上唇深陷及密生体毛等特征,归属带蛾科的带蛾亚科较为合宜。 福安地区茶蚕一年主要发生三代,寄主为茶及油茶,幼虫群栖性强,老熟后在地表化蛹,有明显的越夏蛹期,常自6月中、下旬开始,延续至9月中旬,其历期长短决定于8、9月份的气温,一般在旬平均气温下降至28℃以下时大量羽化,降雨量间接影响气温而作用于越夏蛹。越冬虫态主要为幼虫,亦有以卵越冬现象,这主要决定于越冬卵及严寒季节来临的迟早,越冬幼虫出现期虽有较大的差异,但第2代成虫出现期与越夏蛹期的开始,各年代间差异不大。 试验测定结果,老熟幼虫有较强的抗药力;喷布0.1%乐果有较好的杀虫效果,使用6%可湿性666 20倍或30倍毒土对老熟幼虫有一定的触杀作用,但受单位面积沾药量、接触时间等影响;培土灭蛹在培土深度达50毫米以上,可显著减少蛹的羽化出土。

The insect also has defibite choice to other tree species grown near villages, canals, road-sides, and buildings, Paulownia and heaven tree appear to be more resistant to the pest. The adult mainly uses its antennae and labialpalpus and other sense organs to accurately choose tree-species. Populus X dakuanensis has some chemical messagematter that attracts the pest to bite and oviposit. Paulownia seems to have some repellency to the insect, The findings provide some theoeretical basis for deeply studying and controlling Anoplophora nobilis, specially for using insectresistant tree-species.

黄斑星天牛(Anoplophora nobilis G.)成虫白天活动,晚上静息,在10时和18时左右有两个活动高峰,主要为取食、交尾、产卵。成虫飞翔力不强,通常只在林间往返扩散,最远为1190米。其活动力的强弱主要受温度影响。正常活动范围为16°~28℃,32℃以上,10℃以下,活动失常。成虫多在胸径7~12厘米粗的树干上产卵,其高度随树龄而逐年上升至一定粗度的主、侧枝上。成虫特别嗜 在黑杨派及青杨派树种上取食产卵;白杨派树种上产卵少,表现出不同程度的抗虫性。对其它四旁树种也有一定的选择性,泡桐与臭椿是免疫的。成虫主要通过触角及下唇须等感觉器官来准确地选择树种。
