A brief review of the principle and the type of piezoelectric effect as well as the matrix of piezoelectric coefficients and its equations is given, with emphasis on the principle and the advantages of three component piezoelectric quartz force transducers. It describes the structural design and its technical features of the three component force transducer, and the choice of the quartz disc. It also gives an analysis of the problems from all phases which might occur during the process of force-electricity transformation and the methods of solution. Finally, the calibration and technical specifications of the transducer, the design apd features of the three component force measurement system are presented.
