Based on the previous studies of solid heat convection, a new simulation method which is fit for temperature distribution along widening direction of steel strip plate is given, and an effective estimate zone method for optimizing heat transfer coefficient is also given.

According to double radius method and edge bend method, this paper introduces the design theory of roll pass with opposite direction bend in middle part for cold forming of round pipe.
