The synchronous measurement scheme of combining the wire encryption control survey and strip topography mapping was taken in the course of the engineering survey for the Xilongchi Pumped Storage Power Station, located in Shanxi Province. The fullstation device was adopted to conduct synchronously the traverse survey and the detailed survey.
This paper mainly introduces the application of RTK technique in minor control survey and laying out in the stripe topographic survey in the 'Moving the water in south of China to north' project and some key issues. Additionally the precision and errors of the RTK are analyzed. By comparing the results it shows that the precision could meet the need of the project.
