单克隆(N-79型)是新城疫 LaSota 株经克隆纯化制成弱毒疫苗。应用鸡胚尿囊液的疫苗毒对13—26日龄的雏鸡经饮水免疫,1毫升疫苗免疫200只雏鸡,免疫14天后血清 HI 抗体滴度上升到高峰。免疫鸡经新城疫强毒毒株攻击试验证明,鸡体的血清 HI 抗体滴度在3 Log2就能抵抗新城疫强毒的感染。每毫升疫苗经饮水免疫500只雏鸡也可产生坚强的免疫力。这疫苗也可用于滴鼻免疫。这疫苗对雏鸡经2次饮水免疫(间隔4周),免疫期可达5个月以上。这疫苗在一个养鸡场使用时,在免疫后45天该场的鸡群受到新城疫强毒侵害,凡是用过新城疫 B_1和 LaSota 系疫苗免疫的鸡有一部分被感染死亡,而应用单克隆(N-79型)疫苗免疫的鸡没有死亡。
