The cold, high temperature deformation textures and their inheritance were studied on two low carbon alloy steels 14MnNi and 12CrNi3.It was found that the texture of initially deformed-phase can be inherited after α→γ→α transformations.The degree of textural inheritance may be measured quantitatively by using the parameter of the growing level of texture ∑△P_(hke).The stronger the deformation texture,the higher the degree of its inheritance after α→γ→α transformations with rapid heating and rapid cooling....
