Results:The serum concentrations of E 2 in the rats in various stages were extensively decreased compared with that before the experiments. The concentrations of P also had certain significant changes. The estrous cycles were prolonged remarkably in some rats and even stopped in anestrum in one rat during the ethanol treament. Conclusion: The result suggested that ethanol may severely interfuse the ovarian function in female rats with abnormal endocrine of E 2 and P and disturbance of estrous cycles.

There was a statistical significance (t=206, P<005) between p27 expressions of chondromas and gradeⅠchondrosarcomas.In normal cartilaginous tissues, benign cartilaginous tumors and low grade (grade Ⅰ and grade Ⅱ) chondrosarcomas were mainly diploid, and in high grade ( gradeⅢ) chondrosarcomas were aneuploid. The higher p27 protein expressed, the more DNA aneuploid presented. p27 expression showed a significant direct correlation with DNA aneuploid (r=0925, P<005). Conclusions p27 protein will probably become a marker in differentiating chondromas from grade Ⅰ chondrosarcomas and a useful prognostic index of chondrosarcoma, and it may also be of some guiding significance in grading chondrosarcoma.
