This text briefly analyses the deficiency of the traditional grid computing ,and systematically studies a more practical grid computing model(which is called computing pool) with Queuing Theory. We analyse the capability of the grid computing model quantitatively , and this will generate leading function to grid computing in some degree. Finally, we give some guidance about how to choose the amount of the high-powered computers in the computing pool.

简要分析了传统网格计算中存在的不足之处,并对当前比较实用的一种网格计算模型 (网格计算池模型)用排队论的方法进行了系统的研究,定量分析了网格计算池模型的特性,对网格计算能起到一定的指导作用,并且对组成网格计算池的高性能计算机数量的选择给出了一些指导性的意见.

The computing pool is a new grid model which is advocated for meliorating these defects. Both parallel computation environment and portable batch system are always the important component of the supercomputer system,but for they are only used for special domain and by special people, there is the more emphasis particularly on computing speed and efficiency than on the opening of the system. The application which based on them such as computing pool also is very few. This paper describes some key technologies used in the computing pool system, such as the optimization of the parallel computation environment, the special configuration for realization of the computing pool system and how to use the portable batch system IFL to realize the interface of the computing pool system.

网格计算池是近年来针对传统“累加”式网格计算模型中网络带宽受限制、通信延迟、通用性不强等缺陷提出的一种新型网格模型。并行计算环境与任务调度管理作为超级计算资源中的重要组成部分,由于其专业性与普及度的影响,长期以来应用的侧重点都更多地在于计算的速度与效率上,在系统开放性上并不注重,对于其二次开发如在网格计算池中的应用更是不多见。就并行计算环境的优化、针对于网格计算池模型应用中的配置和任务调度管理软件以及利用IFL实现网格计算池模型接口中的一些关键问题进行了研究。

At present time,computing pool is a practical computing grid model.The mechanisms of its resource discovery and allocation are more simplified.According to the features of computing pool and the architecture of Vega grid,the short paper combines a resource discovery mechanism based on shortest distance routing-transferring and a job scheduling algorithm,proposes a new task scheduling strategy.Then a simplified model is designed,which distinctly describes a whole process of a job being executed.

在现阶段,网格的计算池模型是一种较实用的网格实现方式,其资源的查找和分配机制也相对简单。文章根据计算池模型的特点,参照织女星网格的体系结构,将基于最短路由转发的资源发现机制与任务调度算法相结合,提出了一种新的网格任务调度策略,并给出了简化模型清晰地描述了任务在此策略下全部的执行过程。
