In recent years,a special study of the Quaternary deposits in Mt.Lushan has been carried...

A great deal of till and related deposits are distributed both at the piedment and in the moun- tains of Lushan.Since the publication of“Quaternary glaciation in the Lushan Area,Central Chi- na”by Prof.Li Siguang in 1937,more knowledge of the Quaternary glaciation in the area and of the related deposits has been gained.However,a debate of the existence of the Quaternary glacia- tion in the Lushan area is still in progress. In recent years,a special study of the Quaternary deposits in Mt.Lushan has been carried on by the author.An exposure section of glacial deposits was found from Xiaqingshan to Yemaojin and Jiangpochang of Baishizui.These deposits bear the characteristic features of the transportation and deposition by glacier,glacial fluvial water and freeze-thaw.A study of the quartz sands and clay minerals using scanning electrern microscope brought out to light the various structure assem- blages of the surface of quartz grains and the different clay mineral species e.g.fresh conchoidai fractures,parallel steps,upturned cleavage plates,striaes and pressure fractures on the surface of the quartz sands in the white till.The clay minerals are mostly illites suggesting cold climate.All these provide important evidence for glaciation in this area.

庐山白石嘴附近新发现的冰碛灰白色泥砾层、冰前沉积砂砾粘土层以及表皮构造、冰溜面、冰川巨漂砾等,为研究庐山第四纪冰川作用的性质、类型和冰期气候变化提供了新的证据。运用扫描电镜对沉积石英颗粒表面微结构的系统研究表明,微结构类型的组合,具有冰期寒冷环境的冰碛相、冰水沉积相及间冰期湿热环境的溶蚀沉积等多种结构组合特征。庐山有第四纪冰川活动无容置疑。

Based on the research results of geographical studies of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau in the last two decades, the main progress of studies on the paleogeographical evolution, natural environment and its regional differentiation, as well as environmental problems are dealt with in the present paper.

本文综述青藏高原自然地理研究所取得的主要进展,诸如晚新生代以来高原剧烈抬升引起的自然环境巨大变化,上新世的古地理环境和高原隆起,湖泊和水系的演变,第四纪冰川作用,全新世古地理环境演化以及高原隆起对自然环境和过程的影响等。指出了青藏高原具有的独特自然环境类型和特征,阐述了山地垂直自然带谱类型的比较研究,三维空间的地域分异,自然区划以及对独特地生态现象和区域的研究成果。

The author, based on his field work, in this paper gives out the geomorphical features of the area of the Xianshuihe fault-Belt stretching by quantitative and quantitative analysis from the both aspects of positive and negative landforms of mountainsi gullies and valleys. With a big altitude and relief, a good conserve of penplain on mountain tops, a complicated form of slopes and a good developincfit of vertical climato-morphogenesis belts, the posi-tive landforms of mountains are mainly the fault-block ones...

The author, based on his field work, in this paper gives out the geomorphical features of the area of the Xianshuihe fault-Belt stretching by quantitative and quantitative analysis from the both aspects of positive and negative landforms of mountainsi gullies and valleys. With a big altitude and relief, a good conserve of penplain on mountain tops, a complicated form of slopes and a good developincfit of vertical climato-morphogenesis belts, the posi-tive landforms of mountains are mainly the fault-block ones formed by the intensely different uplift of faultblocks since Quaternary. The ranges which has the altitudes more than 4000 m was glaciated strongly in Quaternary. The negative land-forms of gullies and valleys are mainly fault-valleys which develop along the faults and have been modified by fluvial processes. There are two steps of etchplains and one to five steps of terraces on both slopes of main vallys, and several divergences of trends and changes of flowways of rivers. Specially, it should be pointed out that the disintegration of penplains, the changes oi river flowways and intense glaciation have time synchroism to the intense acting of the Xianshuihe fault-belt itself.

在野外考察的基础上,运用定量与定性相结合的分析方法,从山地正地貌和沟谷负地貌两个方面论述了鲜水河断裂带附近地区的地貌特征.认为,山地正地貌主要是第四纪以来强烈断块差异性抬升所形成的断块山,海拔高,高差大,山顶夷平面保存完好,山坡坡形复杂,垂直气候地貌带发育,海拔超过4000m的山岭第四纪冰川作用强烈;沟谷负地貌主要是沿断裂发育并经流水改造而成的断层谷,主谷谷坡有两级剥蚀面和1—5级河流阶地,曾在多处发生过河流的分流与改道.特别应该指出的是,夷平面的解体、河流的改道、强烈的冰川作用同鲜水河断裂带的强烈活动在时间上是同步的.
