In the light of the loss of data, a common occurrance in the process of registration, this article puts forward a protectiue programme. With this programme, the loss of data, caused by abrupt power failure and dead lock, can be recovered by storing data simultaneously as they are keyed in by the user on the hard disk. We have already, applied this programme to thee family of IBM—PC/XT and. achieved fairly good results.
