本文以深圳特区报为案例, 阐述通过正确把握市场经济规律与新闻规律的一致性, 把两者结合起来, 推动新闻改革。两个规律的一致性在于, 报纸和其他商品一样, 必须把握和满足(消费者) 受众的需求, 争取受众。党报要善于根据读者需要开拓市场, 并将导向通过读者需要的信息传播给读者, 针对不同的报道内容采取不同的引导方式, 使市场开拓到哪, 舆论导向也落实到那, 从而取得社会效益和经济效益的统一。

The media industrialization has produced the concept of the "audience is the consumer" which reflects some features of the media activities and audience consumption. However, this, as paper asserts, could lead to the death of the public service of the media.

传媒产业化催生了“受众即消费者或市场”的受众观念,这一观念反映了传媒活动和受众消费行为的某些特点,但在实践中容易导致传媒公共服务使命的泯灭和利润取向的张扬。尤其重要的是,这种观念背离了我国目前急剧转型的历史时期对传媒角色和传播内容的时代要求。本文认为,消费者的受众观念本质上是“受者本位”幌子下的“传者本位”。
