In mine geothermal prediction, the instable heat transfer coefficient is an important parameter for heat transfer (between country rock and air flow) computation. In this paper the rock temperature distribution in the geothermal field has been presented. The analytic formula of the instable heat transfer coefficient has been derived, thus exponds the relationships between its nature and influencing factors. Practice showed that the analytic formula is accurate, simple and available.
