In this paper, drying tests on thin-layer onion and mushroom have been made by the far-infrared drying test-box.The better temperature in the drying box, distance between the material and radiation source, thickness of material, convective airflow velocity inside drying test-box, loading coefficient and position of radiator have been found according to the comprehensive study of drying velocity and power consumption. In this paper tests of drying mechanism on lentinus edodes and apple have been made by the far-infrared and convective hot-airflow drying oven. In each drying test, internal and surface temperature of lentinus edodes, internal temperature and moisture gradient of apple were measured.The reason that lentinus edodes was dried by far-infrared is faster and its power consumption is lower than airflow was found. The drying process of wet silkworm chrysalises, which are the subproducts of the silk production industry, is experimentally studied. The mode of forced convection drying with hot air permeating vertically is adopted. The influence of temperature and velocity of the hot air as well as the thickness of the chrysalises layer in the drying process is analyzed on the basis of the experimental results. An experimental relation of exponental model for wet silkworm chrysalises drying process is obtained.

对缫丝副产物湿蚕蛹的干燥过程进行了实验研究,采用垂直穿流热风强制对流干燥方式。根据实验结果分析了热风温度、流速、蚕蛹层厚度对干燥过程的影响,获得了指数形式的实验关系式。
