The authors have made an analysis of the present situation of the teaching mode of western surgery for seven year schooling students majoring in the integration of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine. The training mode of "two bases and one clinic" and a new curriculum system suitable for the mode were then constructed. A series of textbooks on the basis of Chinese medicine integrated with Western medicine were organized. All played an important role in the training of high quality medical professionals and the forming of a body of qualified teaching staff in the specialty...
