There were 9 cases of marked narrowing of lobar bronchi showed in 30 cases of air-bronchogram in lobarshadows and 3 cases showed narrowing in segmental bronchi in 8 cases of air-bronchogram in segmental shadows.
The surface structure of epiglottis,laryngeal vestibule,vestibular fold,vocal fold and laryngis inferius in cavum laryngis and trachea,bronchi,lobar bronchi and segmental bronchi of rabbit were observed by using scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that the first half of the epiglottis surface was covered with simple squamous epithelium,without ciliar and goblet cell,while the rest of it was covered with ciliated epithelium,the epithelium of laryngeal vestibule looks like the scales of fish.
Methods The 3 methylcholanthrene(MCA) and diethyinitrosamine (DEN) were used to induce lung squamous cell carcinoma by intra left lobar bronchial instillation in 50 Wistar rats, and 10 normal rats as controls.

Results The frequency domain of oscillation of the device itself was from 10 to 20 times per second. The maximum endobronchial pressure and expiratory pressure amplitude of vibration generated by the device were approximately 18 to 23 cmH 2O and 1 to 2.3cmH 2O respectively during exhalation. The oscillating frequency within the tracheobronchial tract from mouth to ostium of the bronchus was from 13 to 14 times per second.

We report our experience of a selective lobar bronchial blockade (SLBB) technique with a bronchial blocker (BB) which was employed successfully with a routine double-lumen endotracheal tube (DLT) in three patients.
