The low cycle vibration problems of water wall and rigid beams existing on 1000 t/h boilers of Shandong Zouxian Power Plant were investigated and studied. This paper describes in detail the impacts of design, erection, operation and system of boiler and analyzes the causes leading to low cycle vibration of water wall and rigid beams.
The causes of frequent water-wall leakages induced from tube-burst on 1025t/h UP once-through boiler have been analyzed. It is considered that the main causes of said problem are defects existing in boiler design and operation, such as strong thermal sensibility of water-wall tubes, great heat deviation in the furnace, unjustifiable structure of rigid beams and furnace hermetization etc. .
