The ultrastructure of pearl sacs of Cristaria plicata Leach in dif-ferent developmental stages were observed under electronic microscope. The epi-thelial cells of pearl sac have abundant microvilli in their apical surfaces, well-de-veloped basal membrane-invaginated system and intercellular spaces (latteral)and there are a lot of mitochondria, ribosomes and Golgi bodies in the cytoplasm.During the early development, the epithelial cells and their nuclei are columnar,some nucleus division can be seen,lysosomes are strongly active, lysis of cellularorganelies occur usually, and many lamellar bodies form; most of the ribosomes areisolated granules scattered in the cytoplasm. During the latter development, howe-ver, the epithelial cells become cuboid or squamous, the form of the nuclei are irre-gular; lysosomes and the basal membrane-invaginated system are less than thosein the early period, but the inteacellular spaces become extremely noticeable.Rough endoplasmic reticulum increrses in number and almost all of the ribosomes.accumulate as rosette configurations called polysomes. The connective tissue adja-cent to the epithelium consists of ceils, including fibroblasts and quasi-connective-tissue-calcium (QCTC) cells and myocytes, inter-cellular microfilaments, cell-likestructures and cell pieces. There are more fibroblasts in the early period, more intercellular microfilaments and cell pieces and cell-like structures occur in thelatter period.

Transmission electron microscopy was used to study the ultrastruc-ture of various stages cells and sperm in spermatogenesis and spermiogenesis of ye-llowfin seabream (Sparus latus) in Xipu Bay (a semi-closed bay), Dongshan Coun-ty, Fujian Province. The morphological and ultrastructure changes of nuclei, mito-chondria, Golgi bodies and somatic cells were described and disccused in detail. Thedevelopment of testis and the relationship between maturity ages and body lengthor body weight were also investigated....

The morphological and ultrastructure changes of nuclei, mito-chondria, Golgi bodies and somatic cells were described and disccused in detail. Thedevelopment of testis and the relationship between maturity ages and body lengthor body weight were also investigated. The results reveal that the testis of this spe-cies could reach maturity in the bay. The spermatogenesis and spermiogenesis process of She fish underwent six stages: (1) primary spermatogonia, (2)secondary sperma-togonia, (3)primary spermatocytes, (4)secondary spermatocytes, (5) spermatidsand (6) formation of sperm ceils. Matured sperm was composed of head, midpieceand tail, there was a horse-hoof like nucleus and without an acrosome over it. Theconeentration process of chromatin was as follows: fine grains form in primary andsecondary spermatogonia, small masses form in primary and secondary spermatocy-res and uniform materials with high electron density in spermatids and maturedsperms. A small proportion of the male mature at Ⅰ year class, but most of themmature at the Ⅱ year class.

本文在超微结构水平上,着重研究了西埔湾黄鳍鲷精子发生和形成过程中各级精细胞形态结构的变化、线粒体和高尔基体等细胞器的演变特点以及精巢内一些体细胞的形态结构与功能。研究结果证实了黄鳍鲷雄性性腺能在半封闭的西埔湾内发育成熟。精子发生和形成可分为原始精原细胞、精原细胞、初级精母细胞、次级精母细胞、精子细胞和精子形成等6个发育阶段。成熟精子由头部、中段和尾部组成,头部近圆形,细胞核呈马蹄形,核内染色质高度浓缩,核上方不具顶体。尾部轴丝为“9×2+2”结构。
