This technology can save the investment, reduce the energy consumption, maintain the ecological balance and promote the implementation of the sustainable development strategy. According to the actual conditions of our country, the integrative treatment technology of decentralized method and the centralized method is suitable for enhancing environmental protection and realizing sustainable development. In this paper, the concept and advantages of the decentralized wastewater treatment technology are recommended, and several kinds of main technological forms are summarized. The development trends of the wastewater treatment technology are forecasted, and the development strategy is brought forward.
