The application of fluidization technology in China's petroleum refining indus try was summerized with fluid catalytic cracking as example. The development and improvement of fluidization technology realized in the type of reactor and regenerator beds, the conveying of fluidized solids, the separation of fluidized solids from gases, the heat transfer in a fluidized bed, and fluidization reaction engineering during the last 20 years were reviewed and illustrated with certain details. At present, the fluidization technology in China is still lagging behind the advanced world level. Extensive research work should be continued in the improvement of contact between gas and solid, reaction engineering, dust recovery,fluidized conveying at high flow rate, test and measurment of industrial fluidized bed, and the wear in fluidized bed and wear-resisting materials, so as to successfully develop a novel fluidization process.

Most of the heavy oil from Chinese crudes are good cracking feeds for their low sulphur content and paraffinic characteristics. Crude cracking and atmospheric residue cracking have been studied ever since the end of 1960's.This report reviews the recent research on reducing the coke deposition during residue cracking. By using a new series of zeolite catalyst, raising the riser temperature, lowering the reaction pressure, increasing the steam injection, improving the feed atomization, applying rapid separation and shortening the feed residence time, etc., coke yield has been significantly decreased both at the 0.24 ton/day pilot plant and commercial units. Metals passivation, especially for nickel has also been studied.The operation parameters and the product yields of residue cracking in three refineries are listed. Gasoline plus light cycle oil yields for two atmospheric residues and vacuum bottoms mixed feeds are 70~76%and over 80% in weight, respectively.

发展渣油催化裂化工艺是当前世界上石油炼制工业研究发展的主要趋向。结合我国原油中重油部分较多及其低硫高石蜡性质,开展渣油催化裂化研究是极为必要的。本文简要介绍了近年来我国渣油催化裂化工艺的研究及发展。为了进一步降低渣油原料裂化时焦炭的生成,使用了新系列的分子筛裂化催化剂,研究了提高提升管操作温度、提高再生温度及降低进料预热温度、降低反应压力、增加水蒸汽用量、改进原料雾化、采用产品快速分离及缩短反应时间等操作手段对生焦的影响。已在0.24吨/日中型装置及工业装置上取得了良好效果。金属钝化方法也进行了研究。渣油裂化工业装置数据列于附表。两种常压渣油为原料时轻质油收率为70~76%(重),掺减压渣油的混合原料轻油收率超过80%(重)。
