Pulse generator generates 2.5 Gbit/s non-return zero(NRZ) pulse signal,which is used to externally modulate amplified spontaneous emission(ASE) broadband source,and then optical signal is fed into optical encoder to spread spectrum.
To implement the demonstration, each optical network unit is equipped with a fixed optical encoder and a fixed optical decoder, both of which are tuned to the control channel.
In the transmiting port, optical encoder turns data bits into spread spectrum sequences, then, optical decoder retverts it to data bits with the theory of correlation decoding in the receiving port.
Moreover,an OCDMA platform is constructed by using two optical encoder/decoder made practically,then be experimented and analyzed with the corresponding experimental results attached. The experiment validates that optical encoder/decoder can be accomplished by optical fiber delay.

By analyse and simulation,wo can see the syetem overcome thedisadvantage of tranditional OCDMA system and all the users use the sameencoders and decoders,so it simplified the implement of system.
