The purpose of this article is to provide a flow control method for a computer network. The concepts of the virtual channel, virtual link and chain mechanism describe the flow control of a common data communication network; but those concepts of the multiple virtual link, cubic cross multiple virtual link, multiple chain mechanism, "Bridging-on" and "Bridging-off" describe the flow control of a computer network."Bridging-on" and "Bridging-off" are two essential concepts. They provide simple and flexible tools of unified command and centralized management for communication among user processes, and help to simplify the implementation of higher layer computer network protocols.

信息包通信是数据通信发展的产物,如何解决信息包传送时所发生的冲突是信息包通信的中心问题。随机多址技术的独特之处在于采用分散控制的办法来解决冲突。本文阐述随机多址技术用来解决冲突的几种算法(协议):ALOHA,分隙ALOHA,载波监听多址(CSMA),树形算法,以及预测随机树形算法,着重讨论如何提高信道利用率和获得系统稳定。
