The dynamical characteristics of ground soil and structure of frequency spectrum of ground micro-tremor in Fuzhou and Quanzhou of Fujian Province are studied in this thesis. The ground microtremor signals were observed, and the signals were analyzed by fast Fourier transform method (FFT).
The authors have studied 32 small earthquakes spectral variations before and after Yongdeng M S 5.8 earthquake on Jul.22, 1995,and the results show that P and S waves spectral peak frequency 、 corner frequency 、spectral peak value and absolute vacuum of high frequency spectral line oblique ratio have been obviously changed before and after the main shock,the authors can regard them as earthquake prediction index.
