It is considered that there are three different pressure areas in Carboniferous of east Sichuan by analysing a lot of data of drilling and potential test. Abnormal pressure areas mainly distribute on the border of non-Carboniferous, generally without unified pressure system The pressure change caused by fluid density contrast in the same pressure system is discuased on the base of pressure divisions.The superpressure or lost pressure is happend in the areas where high and steep structure undulates intensely when the formation water in Carboniferous of east Sichuan is of density contrast. The Dachiganjing structural zone is one of the abundant Carboniferous gas accumulative area in Eastern Sichuan Province. At present,four gas pools have been discovered within the structural zone. Each gas pool has gas-producing well of more than 1.0 mm m3/d,but the fill factor is greatly difference in each pool. Meanwhile,the gas fill factor on the axis of main structural trap is reatively lower than lower sub-buried trap (relatively lower relief sub-buried trap defined by seismic mapping at flanks). The main reason is that the antithetic (axial-ward dipping)thrust faults are commonly developed at the flanks of main structures. In which these antithetic thrust faults are the barriers for the gas lateral migration into the main structures in Carboniferous reservoirs. The gas can only be upward migrated into main structures through a narrow zone controlled by these thrust faults or from two terminals of the structures. Because of limitation of gas charging,the gas fill factors of main structures are relatively low. Oppositesy,the low sub-buried traps are generally close to wide-syncline, or are connected to wide-syncline by channel with plenty gas source supply. Therefore the low relief sub-buried traps have high trap fill factors. However, there are many un-tested low relief sub-buried traps developed at the two flanks of main structure,especially in the eastern flank. These traps with various trap types, close to or near the wide-syncline with abundant gas source supply have great exploration potential.

大池干井构造带是川东石炭系天然气富集区之一,已发现4个气藏,每个气藏都有日产量超过100万m~3的气井,但圈闭气充满度却相差悬殊。主体构造轴部的圈闭气充满度低,两侧的低潜圈闭(经地震发现的闭合高度相对较小的潜伏圈闭)气充满度高。造成这种状况的原因主要是主体构造两翼都存在倾轴逆断层(倾向背斜轴部的逆断层),阻隔了已进入石炭系储层的气不能侧向运移进入轴部,气只能从被逆断层所控制的狭窄地带由下向上和由构造两端进入轴部,由于捕俘气的范围有限,故圈闭气充满度低,而两侧圈闭一般都紧邻宽向斜,或有通道与宽向斜相连,气源丰富,因此圈闭气充满度高。本区主体构造两侧,特别是东侧尚有较多不同类型的低潜圈闭未探,这些圈闭都紧邻宽向斜或距宽向斜较近,气源丰富,具有良好的勘探潜力。
