This paper introduces a gridding method with weighted average of tangential cuttings. It can well represent the trend of the random data distribution. The algorithm is quite available and efficient. We give an example to show its advantage compared with the other two methods—gridding by averaging with weight of inverse distance and gridding by weighted least square fitting.
