In this paper the performance of the moving target detection of radar(MTD), primarily the equivalence adaptive effect for the rejection of color clutter,such as weather and chaff jamming, is first analyzed. However, the inherent features of the SBC cause some special difficulties and problems in realization, such as interfacing, coding, memory saving, algorithm, etc.This paper describes a 16-bit(Intel 8086)SBC-based dual channel FFT signal analyzer with 12-bit ADC, 40KHZ sampling rate, software for spectrum analysis and the abilities to display the results on oscilloscope and hard copy from line printer and X-Y plotter.An effecient algorithm is presented in this paper by which the calculation of IFFT (Inverse FFT) can be obtained by FFT with only one time rotative data exchange. The mehod for FFTt unscrambling can save N/2 bit-reverse calculations.The adoption of assembly language and the special considerations of the algorithm achieved the goal in improving saving memory, and convenience to use. Experiments showed that this approach for random signal analysis is feasible both in field and laboratory applications.
