The article introduces the control over the constant current feeding link of twia-fed induction motor realized by microcomputer. Using the method of regulating the firing angle of first pair thyristors following the synchronous reference signal, the article presents hardware block diagram and software flow chart and experimental waveforms, which prove to be satisfactory. If the software is slightly modified, it can also be applied to constant current devices of other three phase fully controlled bridges.

A 2 kW laboratory prototype based on control chip UC3854 is built. Experimental results verify the correctness of the analysis and the design.
