To make openings for piping of header or grooves for nozzles on header by numerical control cutting technology instead of driller and borer is a good manner with high efficiency. This paper introduces major structure, main functions, technical parameters and technical characteristics of numerical control cutter for header piping. The advance and economy of such new technology compared with conventional technology is also introduced.

When machining the helical Acme depth groove in a small hole on the workpiece, traditional technological process mostly uses multi broaching by a single broach. This machining method can' t meet the requirement of productivity in the mess production. This paper, therefore puts forward a high-efficiency broaching technological process by the set of broaches replacing a single broach and presents a reasona-ble, simple design method of the set of broaches on the helical Acme depth groove.

在加工工件上的小孔梯形内螺旋深槽时,经常采用的是单刀多次拉削的工艺方法,这 种加工方法满足不了大批生产时对生产率的要求.为此,提出了用“成组拉刀”取代单把拉刀 进行拉削的高效工艺方法,并为“成组内螺旋深槽拉刀设计”提供了一种合理、简捷的设计方法。
