The monthly temperature charts of China during the period of 1909-1958 are used to analyze the secular temperature variations in China. The monthly temperature in China is classified into 5 ranks: cold (C), warm (W), slightly cold (Cw), slightly warm (Wc) and normal (N). The climatic variations of these 5 ranks of monthly temperature in China are tabulated in Table 1 and 2. It is also found, that once after a cold or a warm period (1-3 months) appears the probablity of occurrence of same trend of temperature in the following half year will be - greater than that of the opposite trend of monthly temperature. 本文根据1909—1958年五十年时期内,中国逐月的温度等级分布图探讨了我国温度的多年变化。根据温度等级分布图,把中国各月温度状况分为五类:即冷月、暖月、偏冷月、偏暖月和正常月。五类温度月份出现的气候特征见表1和表2。从图3—4和表3的分析,发现50年来在我国出现的暖月和冷月与太阳活动的周期性变化有一定的关联。在我国出现一次冷期或暖期(1—3月)之后的半年内,一般仍以出现同类温度符号的机率大于相反符号的机率。

In this paper, the principle of the variation of the vertical motion in the adjusting process of the thermal Wind is discussed by means of a simple two-layer baroclinic model. When the thermal wind vorticity in wind field is larger than that in temperature field, the ascending motion must accelerated, and vice versa.For the baroclinic system in the upper troposphere between 250 mb and 750 mb, the temperature field is adjusted towards wind field when the scale of the system is smaller than a critical scale L_0,...

In this paper, the principle of the variation of the vertical motion in the adjusting process of the thermal Wind is discussed by means of a simple two-layer baroclinic model. When the thermal wind vorticity in wind field is larger than that in temperature field, the ascending motion must accelerated, and vice versa.For the baroclinic system in the upper troposphere between 250 mb and 750 mb, the temperature field is adjusted towards wind field when the scale of the system is smaller than a critical scale L_0, and the reversed is true when the scale of the system is larger than L_0. This is demonstrated by calculated examples in which two horizontal scale are used. They are about 1000 km and 300 km respectively. In the former (1000 km), the adjustment is mainly towards the temperature field, and later is mainly towards the wind field.According to the contrast between the rate of the formation of the thermal wind and that of the destruction, we elucidate primarily the physical process of the formation of the quisi-geostrophic motion and non-geostrophic motion.Finally we applied the method proposed in present paper to examine the baroclinic instability of the long wave, and then clerify the vorticity mechanism of the baroclinic instability.

本文第一部分利用两层模式討論了热成风的适应問題.如果起始非热成风流場的热成风涡度大于溫度場的热成风涡度时,促使上升运动加强,反之,促使下沉运动加强。对于250—750毫巴之間的斜压系統,适应的特征尺度L_0,是决定流場向溫度場調整,还是溫度場向流場調整的临界水平尺度。 第二部分根据溫度場和流場的平流作用,分析了非热成风产生的机制.并由热成风适应速率和破坏速率的对比,討論了准地轉运动和非地轉运动的形成。 最后,用热成风不断破坏和建立的观点和方法,分析了长波斜压不稳定发展的过程,并进一步揭示了它的物理本貭。
