This paper reports on the coordination compound grown in a gel by reaction of 18-CROWN-6 with VOC1_2 and Lanthanum thiocyanate. The composition of this coordination compound was determined by elemental analysis while the funct- ional groups in the molecule were studied with IR. The thermal analyses also have been done. The molecular and crystalline structure were determined by four-circle X-ray diffractometry. The space group is P_(n21α)and its cell parameters are a=9.0368 (24), b=13.1913(42),c=19.2654(53),...

The composition of this coordination compound was determined by elemental analysis while the funct- ional groups in the molecule were studied with IR. The thermal analyses also have been done. The molecular and crystalline structure were determined by four-circle X-ray diffractometry. The space group is P_(n21α)and its cell parameters are a=9.0368 (24), b=13.1913(42),c=19.2654(53), v=2296.58~3,μ=6.39cm~(-1), Z=4, R=0.054 and Rw=0.0544. Results of the structure analysis indicate that the molecule is composed of one 18-CROWN-6, one VO(SCN)_2 and three H_2O. There are four molecules in a cell.

On the basis of the theory of coupling field an approach has been made to the color of octahedral fittings of transitional metal elements. The influence of splitting energy on the color of fittings and factors related to the determination of the amount of splitting energy are expounded. 本文根据冠醚空腔结构的特殊配位性质与配合物的配位键理论,设想了碱金属18-冠-6与硫氰酸镉新的配合物;用凝胶法生长了这一新的配合物晶体;研究了凝胶的pH值、凝胶密度和反应液原始浓度等对晶体成核和生长的影响;生长出毫米级透明晶体和厘米级针状晶体。对所获得的晶体进行了红外光谱、X射线电子能谱、X射线粉末衍射和有机元素分析,实验结果证明了这一新型晶体正是作者预先所设想的新的配合物。采用激光粉末倍频效应法测定了这类晶体的倍频效应,发现这些晶体的倍频效应均优于ADP晶体。
