西双版纳黄瓜是黄瓜(Cucumis sativus L.)中的一个新类型。具有方圆形、大脐、果肉橙色等甜瓜(Cucumis melo L.)的特征。但从西双版纳黄瓜的染色体数、与普通黄瓜杂交的可育性、一代杂种的表现和过氧化物酶同工酶酶谱等方面的观察鉴定,证明属于黄瓜。同时根据西双版纳黄瓜与普通黄瓜不同的性状,认为是黄瓜的一个变种,定名为(Cucumis sativus L.var. xishuangba-nnanesis Qi et Yuan)。

本文分析了20个黄瓜杂交组合的10个数量性状。根据主成份分析确定出3个主分量性状,利用主分量性状的综合性及相互独立性进行方向性综合选择,根据各供试材料主分量值的大小选出了综合性状优良的早熟性杂交组合。

Seven lines of determinate cucumber were developed from the mutant of trailing cultivar Jinyan No. 1 by selecting for several generations through its successive self-fertilization. Some characters were inves-tigated, all of the lines with early maturity, high rate of female flowers and short growing season,especially the traits of determinate of flowering and dwarf plants were different from the trailing cucumber.

本文利用由中国蔓生刺黄瓜自然突变产生的矮生型黄瓜为材料,通过多代自交选育及性状观察,初步了解该矮生黄瓜植物学性状除具有自封顶、植株矮化性状外,与蔓生型黄瓜无明显差异。在生物学方面,该矮生黄瓜具有早熟、雌花节率高、结果集中、生长期短等特性。通过对中国矮生刺黄瓜与不同品种蔓生黄瓜杂交后代的观察、分析,初步认为黄瓜植株高度是由单基因体系和多基因体系共同作用决定的。
