Pure twisting does not induce stresses in flangcs(or chord member) of mainginders, while bending-twisting does. To assure a bridge superstructure functioning in space as a whole, it is necessary to provide it with both top and bottom leateral system and to proportion the cross frames adquately. The relative magnitude of M_k and M_(u.k)is an index showing to what degree the space action of a bridge superstrecture as a whole has been developed. This ratio will depend upon the relative rigidity of crossframes(against shearing deformation)and maingirdes(against bending). Using simple method of theory of structure, the author derives practical formulas for computing two- or multi-girder bridges equipped with single or several crossframes.

This paper presents a 3-dimensional analysis of a double deck steel truss railwaybridge under eccentric loadings, in which an orthotropic steel deck is used for motorway In this study, the restrained end of the bridge is allowed to rotate freelyabout y-axis, while its free end will have displacement along x-axis besides the alikerotation.The result is compared with the model test, and the results based on dif-ferent support assumptions are reviewed.

The superior limit of the absolutely maximum bending moment in simply supported beam is pointed out and defined.Simpler and more convenient evaluation methods are brought out on determining the principal unknown number of displacement method on the frame with rigid member and the moment being nought or not on the frame under concentrated loading at joint.A new argument is put forward about the prior conclusion applying moment distribution without shear force to the vierendeel girder.

本文对结构力学中的若干传统问题进行了探讨。对三虛铰在无穷远处体系为非几何不变的结论提出了另一种论证方法;指出了简支梁的绝对最大弯矩有一上限值并定量地确定了它;对具有刚性杆的刚架的位移法基本未知量数目,以及承受结点集中荷载的刚架弯矩是否为零的问题,提出了更加简便的判别法则;对无剪力分配法应用于空腹梁的已有论述提出了不同意见。
