It is founded by several authors that: the total angular momentum of the atmosphere decreases from winter to summer, compensating the increase of the angular momentum of the solid earth in the same period (principle of conservation of total angular momentum of an isolated system). However the average (over the globe)westerly circulation in the lower atmosphere (from 800 mb to surface) is stronger in summer than in winter. It is the authors, opinion that: it may be this increase from winter to summer of the westerly...

It is the authors, opinion that: it may be this increase from winter to summer of the westerly circulation near the earth's surface, that speeds up the angular velocity of the earth's rotation from winter to summer. It may also be this increase that causes a higher rate of destruction of atmospheric angular momentum in summer, thus diminishing the total amount of the angular momentum from winter to summer.

本文根据西藏高原上年来的观测结果与高原以东隣地我区的探空观测,来探讨高原上环流系统的活动及高原对大气所起的热力作用.主要的结果有以下几点:(1)盛夏7、8月之外,其他月份西藏高原皆在西风带高空环流系统影响之下.从高原各测站(海拔2500—4500km)气压变动的状况来看,西风带环流系统的活动以在春秋两季为多.(2)高原上地面测站的温度与气压的变化经常是反相的,与相当高度自由大气中的情况不同.(3)高原各部份对大气的热力作用并不一致,(春季)四月整个高原的暖源作用似大于(夏季)七月,高原东南部可能在各个季节皆起着暖源的作用.

In this paper the turbulent exchange in the surface layer of the stable at-mosphere is discussed.Firstly,taking the effect of thermal stratification onturbulence,we derived a new form of the function of Richardson' number fromthe energy balance equation of the turbulent atmosphere.Secondly,we furtherproposed a reasonable function,which describes the vertical distribution ofelements in the stable atmospheric surface layer.Thirdly,we give some graphswhich allow us to calculate accurately and quickly the turbulent...

本文对稳定层结大气中地层湍流的层结订正函数导出了新的形式.据此而对的湍流普遍函数作出了新的规定.根据该方案对地层湍流特徵作了若干讨论.最后并绘制了计算地层湍流特性量的图表,藉此可以很方便而准确地由梯度观测直接估各市地地层湍流状况.
