The self-excited vibration of boring rod and the quality of reqrinding of cntting-tool causing a substantial influence on boring accuracy and surface finish were also observed.

In fine boring and turning, the flexible hinge microfeed mechanism is often used for fine adjusting and automatic compensating cutter sizes. In this article, a controlling device for this mechanism is out forward, and the optimale parameters are calculated with optimum design method.
