In this paper, four kinds of K8 single-layer spherical shells with spans of 40m and 50m, and rise-span ratios of 1/5 and 1/7 respectively are analyzed. The most unfavorable loads for the structures subjected to aforementioned loads are investigated, in which geometric non-linearity and material non-linearity are taken into account.
The fatigue damage of members were obtained, and fatigue regions of the structure were also found. Fatigue performance of single layer reticulated shells was related to the rise-span ratios, the average wind speeds and the structural vibration mode. It was shown the number of fatigue members increased gradually with the decrease of the rise-span ratio;
The experimental results of the two models of the brick house with arch floor whose rise to span ratio is 1/10 and 1/6 respectively are given in this paper, and then a mechanical model with clastic support for the whole model house is established, its displacement response is analyzed by using frequency response function method, a corresponding frequency response function is derived, and model stiffness parameter for different stages is discussed.
The ACSR with unequal altitude support is taken as the research object, whose span is 18m, 24m and 30m and ratio of rise to span is 0.20 and 0.25. Based on nonlinear finite element theory of beam-column element,the geometrically-nonlinear static stability analysis program was made in which the iteration method of modified Newton-Raphson method with Arc-length method is used. With this program the stability of single layer reticulated shell with four types of height to span ratio is compared with partial double layer reticulated shell.
By means of sub-space interation method, the preceding twenty frequencies of six reticulated shell systems are calaulated when the ratio of height to span is 0. 1、 0. 2、0. 3 respectively, and based on the principle of equivalent physics condition, equivalent membrane stiffness and equivalent inflexion stiffness of six reticulated shell systems under the first fluctuating mode are calaulated.
