In the Gaussian energy distribution of laser, the geometric relationship between the damage spot diameter of cell and the drilling diameter of cell and the waist diameter of laser microbeam is analysed and is discussed. It has been proved that the laser microbeam diameter can not be changed by means of deadening of laser energy through indifferent filter.But:drilling diameter ≤damage spot diameter ≤laser microbeam waist diameter may be obtained.
