    The correlation of Human Popillomavirus (HPV) with oral mucous membrane diseases was investigated. Method: HPV16, HPV18 was detected in 15 cases by using polymerase chain reaction(PCR) and dot blot hybridization. Results: 3 cases showed positive in HPV16 by both methods. 7 cases showed positive in HPV18 by PCR and 10 cases showed positive by dot blot hybridization.
