Rezearchers have, also got big progresses in the elimination of reciprocating inertia and torsional inertia. However, so far a fatal weakness still exsists in the crankshaft-connecting rod mechanism that is what the arm of force on the crank is very short during the period of combustion prssure reaching maximum points in cylinder, as a result, the torque on the crankshaft is restricted. Therefore, we put forward a theory of translation combustion and some tentative ideas such as developing a special mechanism and a connecting rod which can store energy in this paper. Here, we just cast a brick to attract jade for the purpose of being able to resolve the problem above mentioned We beieve that it would be an innovation to internal combustion engine provided the mechanical design and developing work sueceed.
