A review regarding the investigation of the background circulation of large scale low-level jet over East Asia is given, which indicates the important effect of the monsoon westerlies on LLJ and the relationship between LLJ and cross-equatorial currents. The data of the Global Analyses provided by ECMWF are used to investigate the relationship between LLJ and monsoon as well as cross-equatorial currents. It indicates that a large amount of momentum of the monsoon westerlies is transferred downstream to the low-level jet area, strengthening the jet speed. Most of the LLJ over Asia are connected with the cross-equatorial currents in Eastern Hemisphere. The cross-equatorial currents near 80°E are the main currents connected with LLJ in May. However, once the Somaria jet is. established, it becomes the main flow together with the cross-equatorial currents, near 105°E to influence the low-level jet over East Asia.

The consecutive ultrasonic wave with frequency of 800 KHz and sound intensity of1.75w/cm was used to irradiate mouse uterus before nidation in this experiment.Therate of nidation in experimental groups with an irradiation for a minutc was 18.75%,the rate of nidation in control groups was 62.96%.There was a significant correlation betweenthem(P<0.005).The nidation could be totally checked after two irradiations of ultrasonicwave.The amount of estradiol and progesterone in peripheral blood was determined byradiommunoassay(RIA)in...

The experimental mice were fumigated for 6 hrs each day with 0.46—0.81ppm of ozone for two days.The immune function of humoral immu-nity and phagocytic power of peritoneal macrophage remarkably decrea-sed in fumigated mice in comparison with controls.However,after beingfed with a certa(?)n amount of extract of Asparagus officinalis for 7 daysbefore and for 2 days during fumigation,the immune indexes in test mi-ce were actually higher than those in controls.
