For the glass 65MnF_2·35BaCl_2(mol%), T_s, T_o and T_f occurs at 208℃, 283℃ and 410℃ respectively. Its density is 3.89 and refractive index is 1.62. The IR cut-off wavelength extends up to 10μm. Manganese halide glass appears to be a kind of valuable material with potential application to IR transmission fibers.
In order to simplize the process of developing and fixing the holographic plates of halogenate silver, the method of handling the plates by holographic single bath is put forward. Meanwhile the handling results are studied carefully by means of experiments.
