This paper describes the investigation into the calculation of the kinematics and dynamics of main and articulated connecting rods of diesel engines. This paper describes the investigation into the calculation of the kinematics and dynamics of main and articulated connecting rods of diesel engines. It is known to all that the swing motion of these rods is very complicated. As to the customary type, side-by-side type or fork type connecting rod, each of them is considered as a specific case. Formulas for calculating the kinematics of any particle of the connecting rods and the inertia of any local minimass are derived. Hence, the lateral push forces acting on pistons and the loads on piston pins, crankpins and their bearings are calculated according to the gas pressure and the piston inertia. The forces acting on the connecting rod bolts and on the parting of big-end bearings are also shown clearly.The method introduced in this paper gives more reliable boundary conditions for the calculation of strength, balance and vibration of any diesel engine.The authors recommend that it has to resort to the elastic contact theory to analyse the load distribution on various bearing surfaces in order to take into account the elastic deformation.

本文以柴油机中作最复杂运动的主副连杆机构为研究对象(单列、并列和叉形连杆都是主副连杆的特例)。首走推导出连杆上任一质点的精确的运动学公式,并获得连杆上任一微质量的复杂的惯性力计算式,随后在连杆惯性力、燃气压力和活塞组的往复惯性力共同作用下求得活塞侧推力以及活塞销、副连杆销、曲柄销和各轴承的负荷。同时分析了连杆螺栓和大头結合面的受力情况。这就为柴油机的强度计算、平衡和振动计算提供可靠的受力边界条件。在分析各承载表面的负荷分布形式时,作者提出应该结合弹性接触分析方法,以使由于弹性变形而引起的负荷不均匀分布形式得到如实的反映。
